I have tried and tried to wear my babies. Nothing was comfortable enough and each time I put a carrier on, I couldn't wait to take it back off! I blamed my height, my scoliosis, my big babies, etc. I kept hearing about "The Ergo" and how women said it was their best baby purchase, worth every penny. For awhile, I didn't believe anyone because others I knew used and liked slings and wraps, and I just didn't think baby wearing would ever be for me. But, after awhile, I thought maybe all the hype was for real and so I looked into it, for several months. When I finally heard enough, I went to a web site and noticed they had free shipping and a 30 day trial. That did it! If this one failed me, too, I could just sent it right back or sell it on ebay.
Well, I loved it. I can wear it and wear it, all day if I want. I make others try it on because I'm so excited about it. I tried to sell my sling on craigslist, but ended up talking my only possible customer into buying an Ergo instead and gave her the link to the web site where I found mine. Then, I tried to sell another carrier at a garage sale (last weekend) but ended up just giving it to the couple for free. We fought for awhile, as they tried to give me money, but eventually I won.
So, even though I really am not a born saleswoman, I figure I'm already selling Ergos, I might as well make some money while doing it.
